The Snack Attack Challenge
Overview:
Teams embark on a flavorful journey to uncover unique, local Toronto snacks or food items, all while seeing the sites of Toronto. Their mission? Discover the story behind the snack, craft a compelling pitch to the entire group, and convince the “investors” (aka their peers) that their find is the most iconic, delicious, and marketable taste of Toronto.
In this dynamic and delicious team building experience, we will kick off the event with a warm welcome, team name, flag, and slogan creation, and present the exciting challenge: explore Toronto’s diverse culinary scene to find a unique local snack with a compelling cultural story. Armed with a cash budget and a map of nearby food shops, markets, and bakeries, teams set out on snack hunt, gathering their Canadian-inspired treats, snapping photos, asking questions, and uncovering the backstory behind their tasty selection. Upon returning, teams craft a creative “Canadian Snack Attack Pitch” channeling their inner entrepreneurs to present their snack’s origin, cultural tie, and delicious appeal. After all pitches are delivered with flair and persuasion, the group samples each snack and votes on winning teams.
