Leading Through Change in the Field
A Leanscaper-only sprint for landscape leaders who want their teams to actually move with change.
You’ve worked hard to build better systems and a clear plan for where you’re going. But if your crews aren’t living that plan in the field, nothing really changes. This sprint helps you turn that plan into everyday behaviour on your crews.
Does any of this ring true for your team?
New systems make sense at your level, but your team treats them like “more noise.”
Some crew leaders lean into change, while others quietly ignore it and hope you’ll forget about it.
Accountability conversations feel awkward, so follow-through gets spotty.
You end up carrying the change yourself while everyone else just tries to keep up.
It’s not that your people don’t care, it’s that they’re overloaded, and you need a better way to lead them through change.
You Don’t Have a People Problem
Most landscape companies don’t need tougher leaders, they need better support around change. You can generate new playbooks, scorecards, and systems faster than ever, but helping real people absorb them is still the hard part. The gap between “we designed it” and “they’re actually doing it” is where a lot of good ideas quietly die.
The good news is:
You’re not in this alone.
the Leading Through Change In the Field Sprint is here to help.
A Simple Plan to Lead Through Change
1
Tell us a bit about your company, your leadership team, and the changes you’re implementing with Leanscaper and beyond. We’ll make sure this sprint is a good fit before you commit.
Join the Cohort
2
You and up to two additional leaders from your company join a small group of other landscape leaders for three live Zoom sessions, plus support in a private Slack channel between sessions.
Lead Change in the Field
3
You introduce change more clearly, translate it into visible behaviors, and carry it through with steadier accountability, so your crews actually move with you instead of resisting, stalling, or drifting back.
Who This Sprint Is For
Not a fit if you’re looking for someone to design your compensation or performance pay plan from scratch. We’ll refer you back into the Leanscaper ecosystem for that. This sprint is about leading people through change , whatever specific change you’re rolling out.
This sprint is for landscape companies that:
Are implementing meaningful changes with Leanscaper or on their own , new systems, new expectations, new ways of working.
Have 1–20 employees and want a structured but accessible way to support their leaders through change.
Want crew leaders and key people to carry change more consistently, instead of everything resting on the owner.
Have experienced the “conference drop” , coming home inspired while the team feels overwhelmed or unsure what’s changing.
Care about their people and want change to feel like an opportunity, not just pressure.
What You Get Inside the Sprint
Three live group sessions (90 minutes each) with Alexis and the Two Roads team, focused on real implementation, not theory.
Private Slack channel just for sprint participants, so you can get support between sessions when real leadership challenges come up.
Practical conversation frameworks you can use to introduce change, translate expectations, and handle accountability without losing trust.
Field‑ready tools (scripts, prompts, and checklists) to help you talk about change in clear, human language your crews can actually hear.
A small cohort of peers facing similar implementation challenges, so you’re not carrying this work alone.
Format: Live Zoom sessions + private Slack support
Cohort size: 6–8 companies max
Who attends: Up to 3 leaders per company (owner + 2 key leaders, or any combination you choose)
Audience: Landscape companies with 1–20 employees
Cohort: Leanscaper‑only, 2026 founder cohort
By the End of the Sprint, You’ll Be Able To:
Introduce important changes in a way that feels relevant and grounded, not vague or threatening.
Explain the “why” behind change in plain, honest language your people can actually connect to.
Turn big ideas into specific behaviors, so crew leaders and crews know what “good” looks like on site.
Spot where change is breaking down , clarity, follow‑through, or accountability , and address it without drama.
Share more of the load with your leaders, so you’re not the only one carrying every new initiative.
Most importantly, you’ll leave with a simple, repeatable way to lead your people through change, not just this season, but in every season that comes.

FAQs
Is this just about performance pay?
1
No. Performance pay is one example. This sprint is about how you lead your people through any disruptive change , new systems, new expectations, accountability structures, AI tools, or other shifts you’re making in your business.
Do I have to be the owner to join?
2
No. This is built for leaders, not just founders. You can bring up to three people per company , that might be you plus your right hand and a key crew leader, or any combination that makes sense for your business.
What if we can’t attend live?
3
Live attendance is strongly recommended. If you know you’ll miss more than one live session, this may not be the right time to join , because a lot of the value comes from the live coaching and conversation.
How do I know if we’re a fit?
4
If you’re implementing meaningful changes and you’re feeling the strain of carrying that alone, this sprint is likely a fit. The application form includes a few short questions so we can be sure we can genuinely help.
Is this private coaching?
5
This is a small‑group sprint. You’ll get direct support and coaching, but in a cohort setting with other landscape leaders. If you need deeper, company‑specific support, we can talk about that separately.
If Your Company Is Changing, Your Leaders Need Help Carrying That Change
You do not need to pile more ideas onto an already stretched team. You need a clearer, steadier way to help your people understand what’s changing and how to move with it.
If that’s the work in front of you right now, apply for the sprint.
“Alexis and her team have a rare gift for cutting through the noise and getting to the heart of what leadership and team performance truly mean.
They just deliver concepts; they deliver transformation. The Two Roads Facilitators stories, practical insights, and ability to connect with business owners on a deeply personal level shifted the way our attendees thought about their roles as leaders. “
